Job Description:
The Mortgage Company Manager is responsible for assisting the Mortgage Company Manager by providing office services, such as implementing administrative systems, procedures and policies and monitoring administrative projects.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate mortgage related activities with parties involved in the transaction as needed
- Keep all parties informed and involved during the loan transaction and perform follow ups
- Prepare and review loan request papers to ensure completeness
- Complete transactions between loan establishment, borrowers, and sellers upon approval of loan
- Ensure loan files are complete and organized
- Provide information by answering questions and requests
- Interview loan applicants to elicit information
- Investigate applicants’ backgrounds and verify references
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in the mortgage industry
- Loyal, honest and a hard work ethic
- Professional demeanor and friendly personality
- Well organized, detail-oriented, thorough, conscientious and accurate
- Proven time management skills with ability to prioritize
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Excellent computer skills, MS Office required
- Willingness to adapt to new responsibilities
- Administrative reporting and managing processes skills
