Job Description:
The Mortgage Company Manager primary function is maintaining and strengthening business relationships between clients, banks, mortgage brokers and other loan processing parties in order to gain the processing of loans through Capital Mortgage.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain a smooth running office operation and be a good juggler of many different tasks
- Manage all functions of mortgage processing from loan origination to sale
- Develops and maintains client, bank and broker relationships
- Review reports, while managing and keeping an accurate pipeline
- Establish and maintain written policies and procedures for all mortgage operations
- Reviews and analyzes loans for potential submission to Capital Mortgage
- Recommend and implement methods to enhance efficiency and profitability
- Maintain working knowledge of federal/state regulations to ensure all loans meet these standards
- Assign work to, and evaluate the performance of staff members
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years experience in the mortgage industry
- Honest and integrity
- Thorough detail knowledge from previous experience on all aspects of mortgage processing and operations
- Extremely strong problem solving skills
- Highly organized and process oriented
- Detail oriented, with an emphasis on accurate figures and numbers
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Open to new ideas, possess a positive attitude and be highly motivated
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with expense and operations management
