Job Description:

Develops, implements and executes a yearly circulation promotion plan for FreeCapitalist Enterprises products. The Subscription Manager is responsible for subscriber growth and revenue sales.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage subscriber database · Directly responsible for developing, implementing and executing sales plans to increase subscription base and to achieve revenue goals
- Provide succinct and timely sales, customer, competitive, and market information and analytics, to senior management in a formal, structured manner · Develop and implement a strategy to maximize the value of the products brands and drive branding initiatives
- Utilize and interpret research data to precisely target user demographics, profiles, etc., as well as to develop new product offerings · Stays current with state-of-art concepts and technology related to customer service and circulation fulfillment
- Provides regular reporting and analysis for budget, forecast, circulation, customer service trends, etc · Maintains and improves relationships with editors-in-chief and editorial staff members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years publishing experience
- Strong project management, strategic thinking, planning, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proven and exceptionally effective strong oral, written and presentation communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills for dealing with internal and external contacts at all levels
- Must have competence with basic financial data, databases and word processing software · Experience in acquiring and growing customers
- He/she will have contributed to increased revenues and will have had a strong profit and loss orientation/experience · Open to new ideas, possess a positive attitude and be highly motivated
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines and meet/exceed budget and customer expectations
